Meaning of Bafele

1. A Luganda word that means a con artist. It is often used in Uganda to refer to conmen or people who take advantage of others.

Example:                                             

That ki broker is a mufere. He cheated me of my money.

All those people who work for that company are bafere. Don’t trust them.

Note: The term can be used in different statements to mean a lair or even a thief.
