The talented Afro Soul songstress best know for her therapeutic music, took to the stage in Morocco at the Visa for Music event where she did what she knows best, bringing her powerful voice into play.
The Moroccans were pleased by her performance and we are happy to say that Sandra Nankoma did her country proud.
Earlier this year, the Afro diva also held her concert dubbed the ‘The Black Dame Experience’, which was held at Protea Hotel, Kampala on October 4. The AFRIMA award winner who is well known for songs like ‘Kaddugala’ thrilled her fans at the concert putting on an energetic performance.
“Music is Therapeutic, The stage is Life giving! I Can’t wait to share with you my journey of self-love in a world built against Us. My Melanin Queen.” Nankoma said.
The melanin queen has taken her voice overseas and her recent performance at the Visa for Music only proves how far she is willing to go.

Last year, the Nankoma bagged two nominations in the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) in the categories of ‘Best Female Artiste In African Inspirational Music’ and ‘Best Female Artiste in Eastern Africa’ for her song Kaddugala’, that encourages dark skinned girls and women to love their skin tone. Nankoma runs a Melanin campaign called KADDUGALA, which discourages dark skinned women from skin bleaching as she believes everyone should be comfortable in their skin.
