The least expensive McLaren sports car finally makes its way into the arena with its sheer beauty and power enough to raise above other powerful cars.
BMW’s M division arguably managed to a do a similar thing a few years ago with its 1 Series M Coupe, which was quite impressive. And now there’s the 570S, an “entry-level” super-car that’s part of McLaren’s Sport Series.
With a starting price tag of 670,844,925 million shillings ($184,900), relatively way cheaper than some super cars on the market, the 570S offers style, precision and a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine.
The car is capable of reaching 0-60-mph in 3.1 seconds, and a 204-mph top speed is a bonus for speed junkies like the ones lurking in the streets of Kampala.
The 570S is a clear sign that McLaren still has what it takes to make powerful and yet incredible sports cars for any generation for the next years to come.
Why the McLaren 570S?
THE GOOD
The 570S’ lightweight construction and superbly communicative controls enable drivers to get the best out of the engine and chassis.
THE BAD
Doesn’t support or have most of the latest hi-tech features.
VERDICT
McLaren’s least-expensive offering is also its most compelling.
