Meaning of Kataala

1. A dumb, annoying or slow person. It was adopted from the Luganda meaning for light (see no. 2) which is why sometimes a person can be referred to as kataala extra bright. Most of the time, it used in a joking manner.

Example:

Look at this kataala.

Synonyms: [info] dumb, blonde, slow [/info]

2. In Luganda the real meaning is a light especially a small light.
