1. A commercial passenger van. A taxi usually carries around 14 passengers from a beginning stage to the last stage in their route, passengers can pay fixed fares and get out anywhere along that route.

Taxis are cheap but are at times slowed by jam, they are also prone to accidents to reckless and mad taxi drivers. One ride and you’ll be mad too.

Taxi drivers know most of the short cuts in Kampala and most of their cars are in a very miserable state.
