The new Netflix series “The Witcher”, which was released last year became the most in-demand series in the world, beating Disney + ‘The Mandalorian’.
The new series dethroned the Disney+ hit series “The Mandalorian” for the title pulling in nearly 127 million demand expressions 6 days ago.
The show, which stars Henry Cavill, is only second to the Netflix’s other hit “Stranger Things” which was one of their biggest TV show for a very long time.
“Witcher”, which premiered on December 20, received mixed reviews from critics but later caught the attention of viewers who found it to be a very good show despite the negative attention it got from reviewers.
The Witcher is a fantasy drama and web television series created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich for Netflix, and is based on the book series of the same name by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. It premiered on Netflix on December 20, 2019 with a second season already in the works.
