Nina Roz, real names Akankunda Nina has signed up to a new record label after officially quitting from Boom Bark Records for specific reasons.
Nina Roz has now moved on to a new record label called Sure Events/Entertainment that will be managing her from now on. According to Big Eye, Nina quit Boom Bark Records because she felt it wasn’t representing her well as an artist.
Roz had been at Boom Bark Records for over 2 years but later felt that her management wasn’t doing right by her when it came to attending to her needs as a music artist. While at Boom Bark, she was facing a lot of challenges which is why she decided to quit.
Nina Roz left Boom Bark Records over mismanagement
According to the ‘Munda Dala‘ hit-maker, her main regret was allowing her previous management to take 50 percent control in managing her as their artist which was the worst mistake she did.
“I gave the label too much power and it was not working for me. It has really affected my business and music. I have my goals as an artist and the label has not been doing enough to help me achieve those goals,” Nina said.
We wish Nina the best in her next endeavors and hope she realises her dreams under the new management of Sure Events.
