Ugandan singer, Irene Ntale returns from the shadows with her latest major deal signing to Universal Music Group Nigeria (UMGNG) and a new hit single, Nyamba.
The new deal makes Irene Ntale the first Ugandan artiste to be signed to UMGNG, a division of Universal Music Group (UMG) which is one of the top leading companies in entertainment and music-based platforms with strategic divisions in more than 60 countries worldwide.
According to Irene Ntale, “Being signed to Universal Music Group, Nigeria is the beginning of a new journey as we plan to take over the world.”
She also made a statement about her new song, Nyamba saying, ‘I want all my fans to fall in love, dance, and be unafraid to express themselves when they listen to this song”.
Ezegozie Eze, the general manager of UMGNG, commented, “We are excited to have Ntale join the family. She is an extremely talented artiste and her dedication to her craft has paid off in East Africa. This partnership has been two years in the making and we are excited to be on this journey with her as she sets her eyes on Africa and then the world”.
The talented singer started off her music career with the hit track, ‘Gyobera’ in 2013 and has since then continued to amaze fans worldwide with hits like Stamina Baby, Sembera and many more.
After her departure from Swangz Avenue in 2017, Ntare will now be part of a bigger label that has talented artists like Tiwa Savage, Tekno, and Mr. Eazi from Nigeria, Stonebwoy (Ghana) and Vanessa Mdee (Tanzania).
