Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara may not be extending his contract with Germany side champions as he seems to be looking for new pastures to test out his skills as a player.
According to reports, Thiago is looking into joining the English Premier League with Liverpool showing a keen interest in the player after Jurgen Klopp dropped a hint recently about how the club wants him on their side.
Thiago has been with Bayern Munich since 2013 after he was signed from Barcelona by his former manager Pep Guardiola who indicated that he was the only midfielder that he wanted.
The Brazilian who represents Spain has won 7 league titles with Bayern Munich with 4 DFB-Pokal (German Cup) titles. Thiago Alcantara is a highly decorated player having won many trophies with both Barcelona and Bayern Munich. Liverpool is currently the number one team that is being linked with the Spanish international to sign the midfielder for about £35M.

Manchester United are also believed to be interested in signing the midfielder to widen their squad depth that already has on form Bruno Fernandez and Paul Pogba.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp dropped the biggest hint when he was asked about the midfielder saying, “I really like him a lot”.
Following Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Aston Villa, Klopp was asked whether there was any truth in the rumours linking Thiago with the Reds. He didn’t give a clear answer but he made it clear he was a fan of the talented player.
He said: “Would you be surprised if I didn’t answer? He’s a good player I like a lot but like many others out there.”
Whether this is enough to indicate that Liverpool will get the signature of the player or not is something that we will have to keep tabs on.
