Miss Uganda Gets Its Own Reality Show

Uganda’s beauty pageant contest, Miss Uganda now has its own TV reality show that is already showing on select channels and platforms. The reality show that premiered on Friday, January 13 2023, marks a new beginning for Miss Uganda.

The show titled “The Journey to the Crown” will be airing every Friday at 8:50 PM, and 8:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday only on Makula TV on StarTimes and will also be available on the mobile streaming app StarTimes ON. The show documents Uganda’s beauty pageant activities in the 2023 edition covering all the geographical regions of Uganda.

The search started from West Nile on January 12 2023, and Northern Uganda on January 14, 2023. As for Miss Western and Central, the search is on and the lucky winner will be crowned on January 22, and 29th respectively. Those looking to take part in the beauty pageant can register for Miss Uganda through their website.

The Miss Uganda reality show will cover all the 2023 Edition activities which will last for ten weeks. The show will be covered in real-time on Makula Television as we get to see what goes on in the daily lives of beauty contestants as they fight to reach the top.

The show will also feature a series of activities in the region competitions ranging from the auditions, briefs and training including the regional award night ceremony.

As the journey to the crown progresses, Makula Television will continue to showcase what goes on at the Miss Uganda pageant camp, including; pool parties, talent nights, mentoring and walkway training. The grand finale and crowning of Miss Uganda 2023 will be broadcast live on Makula Television only on StarTimes.
