Nigerian singer Rude Boy (Paul Okoye) alias King Rudy has expressed his interest in recording a song with late Mowzey Radio’s half, Weasel after he revealed the news yesterday.
The former P Square member has also done projects with other musicians like Bebe Cool and both released a new song recently titled ‘Feeling’. The Nigerian star has definitely set his eyes on Uganda as one of his next destinations for recording new music.
Rude Boy and his band arrived in Uganda on Wednesday in preparation for the Valentine’s Day show which will be happening at Lugogo Cricket Oval on Friday. The show will also feature Ugandan artistes – Bebe Cool, Eddy Kenzo, Cindy Sanyu, Sheebah Karungi, Spice Diana, Winnie Nwagi, John Blaq among others.
“I took my time to call Weasel yesterday and told him I’m coming to Uganda. I told him, ‘Whatever you need, I’m there for you as a brother. I miss your brother too. If you want us to do a song, feel free to call me” – Rude Boy said during the press conference.
Weasel has already sent Rude Boy 3 sample songs to collaborate on
According to reports, Weasel has taken the invite seriously and has already sent the former P Square star 3 sample songs they could collaborate on together. Rude Boy has already expressed interest in two of the songs.
We are not sure when the two will head to the studio but it could happen during Rude Boy’s stay in Uganda in these next few days.
