In March 2021, Trevor Noah described his experience as “intrigued” when he was picked to host the 63rd annual Grammy Awards for the first time — and now, the once Daily Show host is making his third appearance at the prestigious ceremony.
This year will be Noah’s third consecutive time hosting, and he says that experience, too, has made the monumental awards show feel closer to normal — so much so that he has updated his one-word descriptor of the gig from “intrigued” to “celebratory,” Billboard reports.
Trevor Noah described the moment as one of being of luck, given his time in the entertainment industry which has only opened a lot of doors for him over the years. It is also reported that Noah will also serve as a producer for the 65th annual event.
“I’m super excited to be hosting the #Grammys once again!,” Noah posted on social media, sharing a Billboard cover with him and the words “2023 Grammy Voter Guide.”
The Grammys will be broadcast live from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 5. The show will air on CBS and stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.
Noah recently ended his run as host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” after seven years.
