Eddy Kenzo returned to Uganda in a political fashion and by that we mean, police and huge numbers of fans waiting for his strike to happen however, besides the other drama the talented singer on Saturday won the Best Entertainer Of The Year award at the African Entertainment Awards held at Kupfrian Hall, Jim Wise Theater, New Jersey, US.
Kenzo was on tour in the US at the time when he scooped the prestigious award thanking his fans for the continuous support towards his music career. He beat the likes of Diamond Platnumz, Davido, Shatta Wale, Wizkid, Yemi Alade and Tiwa Savage who were all serious contenders.
“I dedicate this award to all my fans, to all my people who know the struggle. My name is Eddie Kenzo a very strong boy, street kid and ghetto man but working hard to make a big impression. I dedicate this to all East African people, thank you so much for the support.” – Kenzo
