If you haven’t caught up on the #entanglement viral videos floating around the web about Jada Pinkett Smith and her husband, Will Smith then it’s high time you got a piece of that story right here.
Hours ago, Jada Pinkett Smith came clean about her relationship with August Alsina on her chat show, the Red Table Talk in a heart-to-heart session with husband Will Smith, which has literally made the Internet go wild.
Speaking to Smith on her Facebook show, the actress said that the relationship happened while the pair were separated at the time. However, what made their talk show video really famous is how Jada described the relationship as being an ‘entanglement.’
“We were over,” she says. “From there, as time went on, I got into a different kind of entanglement with August.” Yap, you read that right. She got into, “a different kind of entanglement with August”.
Right after she had said that Will Smith stressed out the issue, saying “An entanglement? A relationship.” A statement that has become a famous internet meme with people going crazy all over the web on WhatsApp statuses, TikTok and many more social platforms.
“I was in a lot of pain and I was very broken,” Jada countered.
The two partners, who have fought really hard to patch things up and get back together after they had split have been married since 1997 and have two children together.
Jada Pinkett and Will Smith’s Red Table Talk video is now an internet sensation
According to the couple, they wanted to do the show so as to clear up the speculations that were circulating in the media over an interview August Alsina recently gave to a radio morning show, The Breakfast Club.

In the interview, Alsina said he had been in a relationship with Pinkett Smith and that Smith had given the affair his “blessing”, which sent a lot of mixed reactions in the media giving an impression that the couple were in an open marriage.
“The only person that can give permission in that particular circumstance is myself,” Pinkett Smith said in the Red Table Talk show.
“I could actually see how he would perceive it as permission because we were separated amicably and I think he also wanted to make it clear that he’s also not a home-wrecker. Which he’s not.”
Smith then asked her what she felt she was looking for in the relationship with Alsina that happened about four-and-a-half years ago and she replied: “I just wanted to feel good. It had been so long since I had felt good.” Smith just looked on with a sad expression on his face.
However, it seems the ordeal is just a long story for the two power couples who seemed to be very open with each other during the talk show, throwing jokes here and there as they talked more about what happened. Smith and Jada are supposedly back together now and have reached a state which they described as “unconditional love”.
As the show came to an end, Smith told his other half: “I’m gonna get you back first.” then Pinkett Smith replied back with laughter saying: “I think you got me back! I think we’re good on that.”
As the chat concluded, the two fist-bumped and used a movie line from the Bad Boys movies to break the ice. “We ride together, we die together. Bad marriage for life,” they said laughing their heads off.
