The Kampala Rolex Week festivities kicked off last evening in style within the community of Kyengera as residents enjoyed themselves to some tasty rolex.
The event was sponsored by Coca-Cola, a beverage company popular for its continued support for food related festivals and its catchy tag line – enjoying meals together.
The first ever Kampala Rolex festival was held in 2016, at the Uganda Museum to celebrate the growing tradition and food culture in Uganda and we await the second edition which is scheduled for 20th August 2017.

The Kampala Rolex Week focuses on different markets across Kampala where competitions will be held to find the best rolex makers.
The markets to be visited by the Coca Cola teams will include Kyengera, Ggaba landing site, Kasangati, Katwe, Namasuba and Nansana. Rolex making competitions will be held at these markets and the winners will be awarded with Coca Cola prizes.
The Coca-Cola Uganda Brand Manager, Mr. Rodney Nzioka was excited to be part of the event and had this to say, “Coca-Cola is proud to associate with Kampala Rolex Festival. We remain committed to offering our consumers unique moments and experiences as they enjoy their favorite drink in the right company,”.
