Adekunle Gold Will Be Performing In Uganda Soon


Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold, real name Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko is set to perform in Uganda on the Saturday of 16th July at Lugogo Cricket Oval. The Club Dome-sponsored event will also feature South African rapper Costa Titch.

The event marks the return of Club Dome after a year break due to Covid-19 and its first session is anticipated to be the biggest event of the campaign. It is also reported that Club will be taking the event to different regions of Uganda as it did before targeting campusers and young millennials in tertiary institutions of learning.

Adekunle Gold gained widespread attention after releasing the 2015 hit single “Sade”, a highlife cover of One Direction’s “Story of My Life“. He later signed a record deal with YBNL Nation and released his 2015 debut studio album Gold, which debuted at number 7 on the Billboard World Albums chart.

Adekunle Gold coming to Uganda

Having a total of four albums under his belt, Adekunle Gold has been a major influential music artist in Nigeria and across Africa for various hit singles such as “Temptation” (2014), “Orente” (2015), “No Forget” feat Simi (2016), “Something Different” (2020) to mention but a few.

Tickets at the gates will go for 60,000ugx ordinary and 120,000ugx VIP but early bird tickets are on sale right now on Quicket where Ordinary tickets are 40,000ugx and 80,000ugx for VIP.
