Bayern Munich Earns its Spot as UEFA Champions

Bayern Munich is now the 6-time champions of the UEFA Champions League after putting 1 past French rivals Paris Saint Germain in a blistering final.

A Kingsley Coman goal right in the 58th minute of the game saw Bayern Munich leading PSG who seemed to have switched off after the break. Both teams playing end-to-end football with PSG having more clear-cut chances to score in the first half couldn’t get themselves on the scoreboard with Manuel Neuer being so magnificent in between the sticks.

Football as always is a cruel sport, and Bayern Munich with the most possession of the ball finally got their goal and it proved to be enough for the Bavarians.

Pitted to win the tournament with that emphatic performance against Barcelona, the German machine proved again that they were good enough to win it all.

A fantastic season for Hansi Flick who only got appointed as the first team manager in November has managed to transform the team from a faltering season to a treble.

Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman sealed PSG’s fate the moment he scored the only goal of the game

Bayern Munich is the first team in history to win all 11 of the UEFA Champions League games. For PSG, they will only have themselves to blame for all the missed chances they had in front of goal in the first half. Ultimately their best performance in the European championship, Marseille remains the only team to win UCL.

Bayern Munich and PSG seemed a match that would be full of goals, with both teams having two of the best attacks on the entire planet. However, that wasn’t the case as the Germans were more prepared for the fight.

Coman was the hero of the hour for Bayern, sending a marvellous goal into the net after a cross from Joshua Kimmich came in at the right moment.
