Olivier Giroud, Arsenal’s striker scored a tremendous goal that left everyone including the manager, Arsene Wenger amazed and dazzled.
The ‘scorpion’ goal came in during Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Crystal Palace which is one of “the top five” strikes of manager Arsene Wenger’s 21-year reign.
Fans went crazy over Giroud’s goal on Twitter

Apart from Giroud’s goal, Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp’s goals are among Wenger’s favourites but he said “this will be the Giroud goal”.
He added: “Technically it’s not impossible but you must have that reflex. The cross didn’t come ideally and Olivier did something special.” The Arsenal striker said the goal was merely luck and he took the opportunity to make the essential strike when it felt right.
A swift counter-attack ended with Giroud flicking an Alexis Sanchez cross from behind him over his shoulder and into the goal, via the crossbar, with his left heel. This goal will be remembered in the history of the Premier League and will be marked in Arsenal’s top goals list in the years to come.
