Charlize Theron Takes On The World As an Immortal Warrior In ‘The Old Guard’ Trailer

If you love Charlize Theron, then you’re definitely going to love her more as she plays the role of an immortal badass warrior in Netflix’s upcoming movie, ‘The Old Guard.’

The Old Guard trailer shows Theron and another group of immortal warriors take on highly trained soldiers and enemies leaving nothing but bloodshed in their wake. Just like in Atomic Blonde, Theron seems to have the bad girl act pretty covered.

Based on the graphic novel by Eisner-winning writer Greg Rucka, the same writer behind other famous comic book titles like LAZARUS, BLACK MAGICK, and Wonder Woman. The trailer features Theron recruiting a young solider, Nile (portrayed by KiKi Layne), to her group of mercenaries.

The trailer also shows some serious action-packed clips as Theron and her group of mercenaries try to evade and protect themselves from an organisation that seeks to monetize and gain control of their power after their secret leaks out. You also get to see some clips of Andy training Nile in combat.

The Old Guard is directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, who previously worked on 2000’s Love & Basketball, The Secret Life of Bees, and Beyond the Lights. The Old Guard was produced by Theron, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, and others. The cast also includes Luca Marinelli, Harry Melling, Van Veronica Ngo, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
