Jennifer Musisi, executive director of Kampala Capital City Authority was in for a shock of her life when unknown fraudsters hacked into her Facebook account in an aim to extort from the people.
According to a statement released by KCCA on Friday, the hackers posing as Musisi have been demanding money from unexpected victims in exchange for juicy jobs.
“Please note that KCCA advertises job opportunities through mainstream media and recruitment is done by the Public Service Commissions,” the statement said.
KCCA also informed the public through the statement that “Musisi runs only one Facebook page, which is verified (with a blue tick) against her name — Jennifer S Musisi.”

“Her other social media accounts include @KCCAED on Twitter (Twitter.com/KCCAED), which is also verified and the newly created and only @jennifermusisi on Instagram (Instagram.com/jennifermusisi),” the statement said.
KCCA is currently working hand in hand with the Uganda Police to try and catch the people responsible and also it informed the public to be on alert and report to the police immediately.
This isn’t the first public figure whose account has been hacked, a year back music artists, Jose Chameleone and Desire Luzinda had their Instagram accounts hacked by suspicious assailants.
