Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are now officially parents after bad girl RiRi gave birth to a healthy baby boy. The two have welcomed their first child with joy and are looking forward to parenthood.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have not yet shared their child’s name or birthday. However, reports from TMZ state that the child was born on May 13 in Los Angeles with details still scarce.
Rihanna first revealed the news she was expecting back in January which was followed by a series of photos that set style trends with her distinct pregnancy fashion. She also told British Vogue in 2020 that her 10-year plan included children.
“I’ll have kids — three or four of ’em,” she said, adding “the only thing that matters is happiness, that’s the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That’s the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love.”
Rihanna, 34, and A$AP Rocky, 33, have been friends for years and went public with their romantic relationship in May 2021. He called her “the love of my life” during an interview with GQ, adding that fatherhood was “in my destiny, absolutely.”
“I think I’d be an incredible, remarkably overall amazing dad,” he said. “I would have a very fly child. Very.”
According to TMZ, the last time Rihanna was spotted in public was on May 9 in Los Angeles for Mother’s Day weekend when she and Rocky grabbed dinner at Giorgio Baldi. That is why it’s highly suspected that she gave birth from the city of angels.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Are Now Parents
A$AP was arrested just last month in a surprise bust as the couple’s private plane touched down at LAX. Law enforcement sources informed the public that the rapper had been arrested in connection to an incident where he was accused of firing shots at an acquaintance, grazing his hand.
Nonetheless, Rihanna continued to support A$AP, even attending one of his shows, cheering for him backstage just a week after the arrest.
More details about the baby may soon be revealed by the couple. As for now, a big congrats to both of them.
