Surprising enough, the doctor shares the same name and is called Michelle Herren, a pediatrician anesthesiologist in Colorado who lost both her position and Medical school faculty appointment for calling Michelle Obama ‘’Monkey Face’’.
She made these remarks after a Facebook user lauded the first lady for being eloquent in her speeches. Guess what our doctor had to say, ‘’ thank God we can’t hear her! Monkey face and poor ebonic english !!!’’.
However, Herren claims she is not racist and wasn’t aware that ‘’Monkey face’’ was a racist term. Sorry but ignorance is no defense in the face of the law.
