American controversial hip-hop star Kanye West (Ye’) is in Uganda alongside his wife, Kim Kardashian and children enjoying the beauty the Pearl of Africa has to offer.
In an interview last week, Kanye West revealed that he would be travelling to Africa to record an album, but none of us was ready for surprise that Uganda was the targeted location for his visit.
“It’s just a full Ye album and those five albums I dropped earlier were like Superhero Rehabilitation and now the Alien Ye is fully back in mode… We’re going to Africa in two weeks to record. I felt this energy when I was in Chicago. I felt the roots. We have to go to what is known as Africa”, he told the American press.
Kanye West, 41, and his wife, Kim Kardashian touched down in the country Friday evening, October 12, in a private jet and were later flown by helicopter to Chobe Lodge Safari which has been cordoned off from public access till 19th October.
According to reports, the rapper and his team have set up a temporary music studio and in the next one week are planning on recording his new long awaited album, ‘Nandi’.

The Information Minister, Frank Tumwebaze took to his Twitter page to welcome Kanye West and his family as they enjoy their stay in Uganda.

We hope they enjoy their stay in Uganda and Kanye gets to make a record breaking album.
