As Arsenal looked to return to winning ways, Petr Cech too returned to saving ways. Arsenal’s number one made premier league history by keeping his 200th clean sheet against Watford which ceiled his place in premier league history as he became the first goal keeper to reach the feat.
Cech was fired up for Sunday as he earned his 200th clean sheet after he saved Troy Deeney’s second half penalty making it his first penalty save for Arsenal since his move from Chelsea.
Let it be known that it has taken Cech 16 attempts in all competitions to save a penalty for Arsenal and penalties have proven to be his weakness as he had last saved a penalty in February 2011 as a Chelsea player.
