Tecno confirmed a couple of weeks ago that the Tecno Camon 40 series will be revealed at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 Barcelona event on March 4, alongside the MegaBook S14 laptop and AI glasses series, bringing AI features to their devices.
The Camon 40 series is expected to feature advanced AI capabilities and multi-skin tone imaging, powered by the latest MediaTek processors. The Camon line-up will include models such as the Camon 40, Camon 40 Pro 4G, Camon 40 Pro 5G, and Camon 40 Premier 5G.
The Camon 40 Pro is already available in the UAE at a price of AED 1,138, while it is expected to launch in the USA at a price tag of USD 180.
The upcoming Camon 40 series is set to offer a better and enhanced photography experience with features like a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 64 MP main camera, and a 50 MP selfie camera. As usual, based on Tecno’s Camon model design, the more priced Premier version will feature a high-resolution primary sensor, potentially a 108 MP camera, along with advanced telephoto and ultra-wide lenses, plus higher refresh rates up to 120 Hz or even 144 Hz more so for the Pro models.
The Tecno Camon 40 series is coming in strong this year
Apart from a better screen and faster charging, the Tecno Camon 40 series devices will be powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 7300 chipset with an Octa Core CPU running at 2.5 GHz. The smartphone will come with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1 TB.
For those worried about SIM card support, don’t be as the Tecno Camon 40 will follow the predecessors with a dual SIM configuration that supports 5G. Tecno aims to set a new benchmark with the Camon 40 series by introducing AI-enhanced photography and smart features.

The MWC 2025 is going to be jam packed as Tecno will also unveil is highly anticipated MegaBook S14 laptop, touted as the “world’s lightest 14-inch OLED laptop.” The MegaBook S14 will also come with Tecno AI, and the brand aims to offer users a redefined “portable productivity” experience with AI-enhanced tools.
The laptop and smartphones will be joined by two AI glasses, called Tecno AI Glasses and AI Glasses Pro. These will be a part of Tecno’s intelligent ecosystem and, you guessed it right, will have AI integration.
