Desire Luzinda surprised many of her fans today with pictures of herself wearing a sexy nurse outfit in what seemed to be her final reveal about what she has been up to while in the United States.
Luzinda has been silent and private about her life in the U.S. but today, fans were beyond shocked when they saw their ‘Ekitone’ singer wearing a blue nurse outfit, all looking sexy and curvy.
Ever since Luzinda relocated to the United States, very few people knew what she was up to but now everything makes sense. The singer for a while now has been trying to pursue her studies ever since she started at Makerere University pursuing a degree in Development Economics though that didn’t work out well for her due to her busy schedule as a singer.
According to Big Eye, Desire revealed on her social media that she is now a certified phlebotomist, and is ready to attend to patients after completing her phlebotomy exam last week. To clear things up, phlebotomy is the process of making a puncture in a vein usually in the arm, with a cannula, to draw blood. The procedure itself is known as a venipuncture.
Luzinda has been trying hard to enrol for further studies but it hasn’t been easy for her as she found herself dropping out due to her busy music career. In her pursuit of higher education, she enrolled at Makerere University but unfortunately dropped out two years later.
Apart from Makerere University, she also tried her luck at Nkozi University for Development Studies but still, that didn’t work out either. However, that didn’t stop her from trying and she later found her inspiration in the U.S. with phlebotomy.

Despite all the hardships Desire faced trying to enrol for a course while in Uganda, she didn’t give up and tried her luck in a different field in the United States, which she believed was a sign from God.
Reports about her joining the medical field gained media attention after photos of her wearing nurse attire surfaced. Luzinda talked more about her new journey in a statement she shared recently that read:

This week as I was preparing for my Phlebotomy exam, many thoughts came to my mind.
Many years ago, I enrolled at Makerere University pursuing a degree in Development Economics which I did not complete because my music career had kicked off in high gear. Having dropped off in year 2, at the back of my mind I knew someday I would bounce back and pursue further studies.
Years later, I enrolled at Nkozi University for Development Studies which I barely did for a year because I had a UK tour that my manager ‘then’ committed to and the dates collided with my first exam period. I began to get tired of trying even when I knew the granite importance of Education.
Fast forward, as I prepared to enrol ‘again’ little did I know God was preparing for me a career different. And while many classmates dropped off because of the virtual classes, I said to myself, “Not the third time! I have to do this!” So, I chose to push even when it was so tough. And here I am on a many years’ journey of a career very interesting.
My point is, never stop trying at something that makes you a better person. People will always talk but would you rather give them talk of you being successful or a failure?! IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU FALL BUT THAT ONE TIME YOU RISE UP AND MAKE IT RIGHT. YOUR JOURNEY IN LIFE IS PERSONAL SO CHASE IT PERSONALLY – Desire
Desire moved to the USA in 2018 and has since been leaked to several reports about her taking on a role as pastor and preacher but all that was debunked today. We wish her the best in her new career.
