John Blaq Sets Up His Own Recording Studio

The Ugandan music industry is known to be a bit complex when it comes to finding a good recording studio to handle a music artist’s projects and with that said, some stars have set up their on studios to rid themselves of the drama.

According to reports by Blizz Uganda, Ugandan dance hall star, John Blaq has taken the step forward and has set up his own recording studio under the names Black Magic Records.

John Kasadah, known by his stage name John Blaq opened his own recording studio in Kireka just near Taxes bar called Black Magic Records and it is soon starting operations after him hiring a house producer according to reports.

Apart from John Blaq, other artists like Ykee Benda (Mpaka Records), Khalifa Aganaga (Bad Character Records) among others have also opened up their own recording studios too.

It seems to be the new trend these days for Ugandan artists to own studios. Let’s wait and see who follows next on the ladder.

  1. Abanayuganda tulabye, so if every musician sets up music labels & studios, who will use the others’ studio? ?? Befuge man, plus I think for John Blaq it was too soon.
