Jose Chameleone’s Health Continues to Worsen After Being Hospitalized

Uganda’s Afrobeat legend and star Jose Chameleone is fighting for his life after reports leaked that he had been hospitalized with a serious condition.

According to reports by Big Eye, Jose was admitted a few days ago but his health has taken a downturn after medical personnel revealed he had a kidney infection.

The hospital at which the music artist had been admitted wasn’t revealed and reports also state that he is currently at his home receiving further treatment for his kidney infection.

Witnesses at the scene say Chameleone could barely walk straight by himself and seemed to be in a lot of pain. The ‘Baliwa’ singer is said to be on bed rest after doctors advised him to take an entire month off.

Jose Chameleone is aspiring to become the Kampala Lord Mayor after he made his intentions to run for the position known early this year. The singer also assured his fans and followers that he is ready to face his opponents for the mayor position.

The Electro Commission announced recently that the elections will be held scientifically to combat the spread of coronavirus within the country by observing social distancing, wearing face masks and washing hands.

Kidney infection, which is also known as pyelonephritis, is a type of urinary tract infection (UTI) that generally begins in your urethra or bladder and travels to one or both of your kidneys.

If not treated properly, a kidney infection can lead to permanent damage to the kidneys or the bacteria can spread to your bloodstream and cause a life-threatening infection. The infection is often treated using antibiotics and requires hospitalization.

A kidney infection is often caused when bacteria enter your urinary tract through the tube that carries urine from your body (urethra), then it later multiplies and travels to your kidneys leading to severe health problems.

We wish Jose Chameleone a quick recovery and hope that he can fight off the infection and resume his normal life.
