It seems like Chameleone has been planning on starting a TV station for a long while now, as it is quite clear from his announcement since he mentioned Gotv and DStv in his statement, which means the plan is already in effect.

For those who are not aware, Jose Chameleone aka Joseph Mayanja is also contesting for the 2021 Lord Mayor seat. His plans of starting a TV of his own clearly show that he is interested in the media industry and would like to reap benefits from it like some have done in the past.

Chameleone has already set up social media accounts for the station and it’s believed that before the end of this year, or even sooner, it will be fully active.

There is also a possibility it will be a youth-centred and driven project as he clearly stated in his announcement when he wrote, ‘loading…..4 all my youths’. His aim could be to target the youth first as they’re the leading demographic of the country.

All we can do now is wait to see what Chameleone has in stock for us when his Leone Television launches on Gotv and DStv as a free to air station on channel 541 as he stated.
