Nigerian music stars Peter and Paul Okoye of the defunct group, Psquare celebrated their 39th birthdays but they did so separately as they are both still beefing each other since their split back in 2017.
The estranged brothers turned up with close friends and families separately at their homes, which clearly showed that two brothers are still not seeing eye to eye.
While Peter had an indoor party, his brother Paul celebrated his with other key celebrities in attendance including the likes of Yemi Alade, Harrysongz, and Jude Okoye.
The beef between the two twin brothers has been recorded as one of the biggest celebrity fights in the Nigerian music industry and has been ongoing since 2017 with the two completely beefing one another.
Reports of their split first came to light in 2015 which was later put to rest by Peter. By 2017, it became apparent that the twin brothers were no longer compactable as they went their separate ways. However, it didn’t end there as they have both continuously attacked each other on social media.
From Instagram shade to Twitter slamming and even the viral video of the brothers almost exchanging blows at their lawyer’s office to insulting each other, the Okoye brothers indeed made the headlines for all the wrong reasons in 2017.
After having such a marvellous career together, it’s sad how things turned out for the two brothers who right now cannot even celebrate their birthday together anymore.
The Psquare brothers are still beefing each other even after 5 years
The beef between the two Psquare duo doesn’t end there, as of recently, Paul Okoye threw some shade at his twin brother’s wife, Lola Omotayo – calling her a manipulative person via Instagram.

The beef between the P-Square twin brothers has been recorded as one of the biggest celebrity fights in the Nigerian music industry, and has been ongoing since 2017 with the two completely beefing one another.
Okoye took to his Instagram page on Thursday, November 19, 2020, where he slammed his brother’s wife over her recent birthday post. The attack on Lola came after she made an Instagram post calling upon the two brothers to reconcile and make peace with one another but all hell broke loose after Okoye saw the post.
The Instagram post read:
“At the age of almost fifty, you think you can still be manipulative and always trying to be in control as usual. Well am not there and also Jude is not there anymore which was exactly how you wanted it,” he wrote.
“Aunty for four years we haven’t spoken but every 18th of November you come out as usual to type shit and they end up saying ‘awwww she’s a good woman’ meanwhile they don’t know the evil things you do behind closed doors. While in the outside you portray an angel.”
“Anyways it’s social media era what do I expect. Next year will come again you’ll still come and type shit. You know me very well and you know I don’t pretend. So, continue doing what you are doing. You don cast already, no need to expose you that’s why I’ve never said anything because it’s family. Let your guilt deal with you.”
P-Square were a Nigerian duo of identical twin brothers Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye. They produced and released their albums through Square Records and until later on December 2011, when they signed a record deal with Akon’s Konvict Muzik label, opening larger doors for their music.
On 25 September 2017, numerous media outlets reported that the group had disbanded and it was supposedly over a disagreement about the role of their manager. It also reported that the two had already split ways by 2016.
