Jesa will be partnering with the Uganda Cancer Society to offer some support to the people suffering with cancer as they receive treatment at the Cancer Institute in Mulago.
Cancer is a growing epidemic that has claimed more than 8.2 million people worldwide. The Uganda Cancer Institute sees over 45,000 patients, 40% of whom are children below 18 years old suffering from different kinds of cancer like leukemia, bone tumors among others.
Jesa is one of the largest dairy farm processors and distributors in Uganda. Jesa under it Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) will provide Jesa milk to the children who are receiving treatment at Uganda Cancer Institute in Mulago.
