Airtel Uganda warned that effective February 3, 2017, their customers will not be to make or receive calls from Uganda Telecom (UTL).
The UTL chairperson, Stephen Kaboyo responded to Airtel threats to disconnect calls from UTL saying that customers will continue to receive and make calls to any network operator in the country as they solve the ongoing matter.
Mr. Kaboyo sent the notice as an advertisement in some newspapers.
He said that, “Uganda Telecom would like to assure its customers that every effort is being made to ensure that no interruption in connectivity between UTL and Airtel will happen”.
