Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez, has confessed to Spanish court for dodging taxes amounting to 865,000 pounds while still playing for Barcelona.
The Arsenal player came clean about the act while in London and admitted to defrauding the Spanish treasury of €983,000 (£865,000) between 2012 and 2013.
The allegations initially came to light in November 2016 when it was proposed that Sanchez hid the existence of a company called Numidia trading, based in Malta.

In his statement to a Catalan court, via video link from London, Sanchez confessed to two counts of tax fraud. The Arsenal star already returned the money he admitted to withholding after he confessed to the crime.
Since the Chilean has paid off the tax, he may not face trial after both parties reached an agreement. The defence team of Alexis negotiating with the prosecution an adequate fine to compensate for the delay in tax payments.
