Hip Hop Star J Cole Thinking About Retirement

Hot news just reached our desk about famous U.S. rapper J Cole real names Jermaine Lamarr Cole, is thinking about retirement and focusing more on his role as a father in the coming future.

Known for keeping his life private and out of media eyes, J Cole recently revealed in a letter he wrote for The Player’s Tribune called “The Audacity,” where he talks about his two sons and music career.

For the first time ever, J Cole revealed and talked about how he has two sons and what his future looks like in the entertainment scene in the 3,500 word letter.

In one part of the letter, Cole was reflecting on the year 2016 when he released 4 Your Eyez Only, he said,

“Four years have passed. In that time I’ve been blessed with two sons, learned the delicate art of balance between parenthood and career, had the pleasure of working with a ton of talented artists as a featured rapper, spent 10 magical days recording a Dreamville album in Atlanta, and put a lot of time and energy into sharpening my sword and growing as an artist.”

On Cole’s 2019 Revenge Of The Dreamers III compilation, he announced he had a second kid on the way and spoke on his son. On “Sacrifices” he said, “she gave me the gift of my son, and plus we got one on the way.”

Is J Cole really thinking about retirement?

In the long letter, J Cole also revealed he’s thinking about hanging up his jersey, but not before dropping his upcoming album, The Fall Off. The shocking revelation could actually be true, with the rapper getting ready to sign off after his upcoming album is done.

J. Cole is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer, and record executive born in Germany at a military base, and later raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He initially gained recognition as a rapper following the release of his debut mixtape, The Come Up, in early 2007.

Cole released his debut studio album, Cole World: The Sideline Story, in 2011, which later debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200. He has released so far 5 studio albums with many of them topping the Billboard.
